FC Barcelona, faced with the problems facing the team in front of the door, has begun contacts with Manchester United with Edinson Cavani as the protagonist. Xavi would have given the OK to the operation and the directive culé has put hands to work to bring a forward of level facing the next winter market. With Arthur Cabral as another for whom he is negotiating, the fact that the Uruguayan arrives for a very low price, could tip the balance for him.
Cavani hardly has a leading role at United. He has only played 270 minutes so far this season, between substitutions and physical problems. Barça is aware of the injuries that the forward has suffered this season and, therefore, will not go crazy to hire him, especially considering that he ends his contract in June. The culé team would have the intention of not paying more than 1 million euros, to offer Cavani six months plus one more optional year of contract.
